Remove grass, use a long level and tamper, and add 1–2 inches of mason sand for a smooth, even base.

Adjust the leveling feet at the base or place heat-resistant shims under the legs. Use a spirit level to check.

Insulated VDE screwdrivers to prevent shocks—never use damaged or uninsulated tools.

Use shims under the base to adjust height, then check with a level. Secure to wall studs with screws to prevent shifting.
